The local change agent:
Professor Ion Constantin, the school principal, proved to be the community’s “change agent”, being one of the promoters of different action aimed at improving the ICT literacy in school both for pupils and teachers. School teacher Danut Staicu is also a very active and enthusiastic change agent.

The school was founded in 1911. There are three classrooms, one AEL lab, one Romanian language lab, one mathematics lab, one history and geography lab, one biology lab, one research and information centre and one sports ground.

The main activities:

  • Different activities with the pupils and the teachers within the Research & Information Center using applications such as VEMUS, YouRA  and NEMED
  • Development by the pupils with the help of teachers of the school webpage, and also of the village webpage

Milestone events:

  • Face-to-face training workshop has been made during the face-to-face meeting organized in September 2007 and October 2008.
  • Online training sessions on using the different software tools and platforms, ie CAP, NEMED Portal, VEMUS, ILIAS LMS and IBM LVC.
  • Online training course on the management of the multigrade classroom for the multigrade primary school teacher.
